Moorlanders MCC |
Moorlanders MCC will be
holding their 14th Easter Egg Run on Easter
Sunday again this year. That's Sunday 8th April 2012.
Last year's event raised over £4,000 for local children's charities,
with around 500 bikers taking part. Many thanks if you were one of
them
- and we hope to see you again.
The purpose of the Egg Run is to distribute chocolate Easter eggs
to
people in care on the route of the run and to raise funds for children's
charities in Cornwall.
This year we've added Children's Hospice South West to help raise
funds
for the development of Little Harbour, their new care home St Austell.
We will continue to support the special needs units of Camelford and
Launceston primary schools, Bowden Derra care home and Action for
Children.
The Egg Run will start at Davidstow Airfield (PL32 9YF) and take
motorcyclists on a well marshalled route of about 100 miles, with
a fuel
stop half way, visiting charities and ending with an afternoon event.
£5
donations to the charities will be collected per bike for taking part,
and donations of chocolate eggs are welcomed.

Riders will receive an event key ring and a voucher for a bar-b-que
meal
at the end event.

Annual Group Conference
Wycombe MAG are very pleased to be hosting the 2012 MAG UK AGC.
With the help of the Thames Valley Region, Wycombe MAG will be
turning the Conference into a weekend long event.
Starting from midday on
Friday campers can set up their tents and there is ample free
camping on the airfield. In the evening we will have live bands
performing in the Hanger and there will be a bar, hot food and
stalls available.
On Saturday the Conference
will be open for all MAG members to attend and a free lunch will
be provided. It’s a chance to meet and debate with the people
who run our organization, from the Board of Directors to the National
Committee members.
On Saturday evening, an
invitation to unwind after a day of debate as Wycombe MAG bring
you their unmissable, one night biker party ‘The Dirty Donkey’.
(£5 entry) (Proceeds from the weekend will be split between
the fighting fund and our nominated charity, the Thames Valley
& Chiltern Air Ambulance).
